

Philani Zama: Director
Philani,a KZN born and bread,and buttered in Cape Town, first found his entrepreneural spirit and a need to make a social impact in 2009 when he moved to The Cape. Throughout his years of working in the NGO sector, Philani has had the opportunity to support, assist, and collaborate with senior level staff to drive corporate functionality and capitalize on opportunities for improvement. Philani’s comprehensive ability to be a Program Officer for an Independent Living Program has not only strengthened his experiences but also led him into managing and growing staff. Being part of a team that started the Independent Living Program has enriched him with vital skills of handling organizational development situations within the organization. With time spent in corporate finance he pulled in skills for the business world, that he breaks ground with at being a fine business orientated person. In corporate finance, Philani was dealing with mergers and acquisitions, it is through this experience that creating new business is one of his strongest skills. At Khulani Property Investments, Philani brings with his business skills, operational effiency experience and his passion for working with people.

Khulasande Naku: Director
Khulasande has gained experience in the Human Resources field,mainly; Recruitment and Selection, enforcement of Basic conditions of employment (BCEA) and Labour relations act (LRA). This experience was gained while working in a Civil Engineering firm in Port Elizabeth. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources Management, majoring in Industrial Psychology and Sociology.
She was then bitten by the Property bug where she has gained most of her Property experience in the Financial Services sector. She is experienced in Commercial property finance; dealing with property acquisitions, assessing project related risks associated with construction management and portfolio management. Khulasande is passionate about property markets, property investment and believes that when property investments are well looked after, they are indeed the safest investments in the world, both socially (providing decent accommodation) and economically (generating profit for the investors).
She loves working with people, building enduring relationships, and brings with strong organizational skills with attention to detail and risk management skills.
